Escape from Stress to Hua Hin - DAY 1

Two week ago, I woke up at 5am and rushed to the airport; today, I did the same thing again!
This time the destination is Hua Hin, which is located about 200km south of Bangkok on the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand. As I remember, I visited there with my family 10 more years ago.

We took 3 hours drive from Bangkok to Hua Hin, on our way to Evason (our hotel), there were so many kids dancing and singing at the side of the roads, and waiting for the cars...it was the week of Songkran festival in Hua Hin (aka water throwing festivities). All cars' windows were filled up with colors handprints, kids armed with buckets, hoses and water pistols. Such a funny and crowded afternoon!

I've tried my best to take some good pictures...here are two of them.

Finally arrived our hotel - Evason, such a nice resort! It's not a resort, but a forest!

Before the dinner, we tried 90 min Traditional Thai Massage (THB300) next to the beach, we couldn't relax but nervous about it, because there were many many many mosquitos around us!!! There was a free pineapple after the massage! Such a good deal! Hahaa!

We dined at the Beach restuarant for BBQ, it was the most expensive meal we had, it costs THB1200++ each, I ate so many lamb chops and homemade icecream, quite tasty!
